Theo de Rooij returns

Cycling - De Rooij back as race director/08.04.2008

Theo de Rooij returns in the cycling world. He has joined the organisation comittee of the Tour of Overijssel, where he will take care of general technical affairs. Furthermore De Rooij will become race director as from 2009, a function he will share this year with comittee president Jan Bakker.

De Rooij stepped back last year as director of the Rabobank Cycling Teams as a result of the Rasmussen affair. After a period of relative rest he is now returning in the cycling world.
